Bible verses

Where: Any page of the books, essays, blog and quotes where a verse is mentioned, such as John 17:3.

A reference to a verse that this site quotes from the NET Bible is underlined with dots. Tap or click it and the verse opens in a small panel at the foot of the screen; Close, the Esc key, or a tap elsewhere puts it away.

If the reference is inside a longer passage that the site quotes, the panel shows that passage and says so. A reference the site does not quote is left as plain text: the verse text is part of the site, so nothing is looked up anywhere else and nothing is sent about what you read.

Selecting words to share still works; a tap on a reference while you have words selected does not open the panel.
