Part 7: The Authority of the Disciple
Conclusion: You Are on the Front Lines
Christ signed the Emancipation Proclamation at the cross. The legal basis for freedom — from sin, from sickness, from demonic bondage — is established.
But the captives don't know they're free. the enemy is still holding them, lying to them, telling them they have no hope.
Your job is to march into occupied territory in the authority of the King and enforce the decree. Not in your own strength. Not in your own wisdom. In His name. By His power. Through His Spirit.
You are a branch drawing from the Vine. You are a vessel carrying treasure. You are a soldier operating under the authority of the Commander-in-Chief.
Heal the sick. Cast out demons. Proclaim the kingdom. Make disciples.
This is not optional. This is your commission (Matthew 28:18–20; Mark 16:17–18). The authority has been delegated. The power has been given. The Spirit is in you.
Now go. Enforce the King's decree. Rescue the captives. Advance the kingdom.
And remember: all glory goes to the One who holds all authority — Jesus Christ, the Great I AM.
Now, Part 8 will show you how to engage the world in the specific cultural battles of our time.
