The Adversary's Narrative

Postscript to the Narrative — A Word to the Disciple

You have just read Satan's self-assessment. You have read it not to be entertained but to be informed. Now put down the map and look at the person in front of you.

The Muslim who senses that something is missing is not an enemy. They are not a soldier of the enemy. They are a prisoner in a cage made of gold, reaching toward God with sincere and beautiful hands, and they have never been told that the door in the cage is open. They have never been told, specifically, that Jesus descended into hell and came back with the keys. They have never been told that His name — the name they already know, the name that is already in their book — is the name that opens every lock.

Your job is not to tell them their cage is ugly. It is not. Your job is to show them the door.

Now, here is what that conversation actually looks like.
