  1. What this covers. The questionnaire, the plain-language church profiles, the answer sheets, the way the churches' answers are coded and arranged, the guide, the Reader Edition and the scoring page are the author's work. Words quoted from a church's own documents belong to that church and are quoted for commentary, with a link to the source. The facts about what a church teaches belong to no one.
  2. You may. Use the tool free of charge. Save, print or export your own results. Share the link to the page. Share the guide, the Reader and the answer sheets unchanged, with credit to the author, for non-commercial purposes. Quote short passages with credit and a link. Use it in a congregational or classroom study.
  3. You may not, without written permission. Sell the work or put it behind a payment or sign-up wall. Publish, mirror or republish the guide, the Reader, the answer sheets or the page, in whole or in substantial part. Adapt the coding, the questions or the profiles, or build a competing tool or data set from them. Scrape or copy the data in bulk, including from the page's source. Use the work to train, fine-tune, test or populate any machine-learning or AI model or data set. Remove or change this notice. The page carries its coded data in its source, so anyone can see it; these terms, not a technical lock, say what you may do with it.
  4. Your answers are yours. Your answers are kept in this browser (local storage) and in a cookie named dmi_answers that holds the same save code and lasts one year. They are not sent to the author or stored on any server. The page carries its own two fonts (Newsreader and Source Sans 3, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1) and loads nothing from Google. Tapping Save as PDF or Save my creed loads a PDF library (jsPDF 2.5.1) from cdnjs.cloudflare.com; your answers are not sent to it. If you type a name for the heading of your personal creed, it is used only to print that heading in the PDF built in your browser; it is not saved and it is not sent anywhere. The creed PDF ends with a save code that holds your answers and level marks, so anyone who has the PDF can read and load them; it holds no name, church or comparison.
  5. What the work is. A description of what churches' own documents say, not a ruling on any church or on anyone's salvation. It describes; it does not grade. It describes a denomination's documents, never one congregation.
  6. Permission and licence. To ask for permission, contact [email protected]. Text and answer sheets licensed under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/). Text-and-data-mining and AI-training rights are reserved.

Privacy. This page runs in your browser. The answers you give, how much each matters to you, and the church you attend are kept on your own device, in this browser’s local storage and in one small cookie named dmi_answers (kept a year, for the guide’s pages only), so they are there when you come back. They are not sent to the author or to anyone else, and the author cannot see them. The save code is your answers written as text; anyone you give it to can read them. The PDF and the creed are made in your browser and are not uploaded. To remove what is kept, use “Clear all answers” in the questionnaire or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, handles the network address of each visitor in order to deliver the page. The author runs no advertising on this page. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, counts visits with a script that sets no cookies and does not identify you. Your answers are never sent to it. The page carries its own two typefaces (Newsreader and Source Sans 3, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1) and loads nothing from Google. Tapping Save as PDF or Save my creed loads a PDF library (jsPDF 2.5.1) from cdnjs.cloudflare.com, so that host also receives your browser’s address; your answers are not sent to it. Questions: [email protected].

The guide’s new pages (site v114). The questionnaire, the results, the comparison and the church pages are separate pages now; they keep your answers the same way, in this browser’s local storage and in the dmi_answers cookie, now kept for all of the guide’s pages. The square codes (QR) are drawn in your browser with qrcode-generator, and the Load page reads a creed PDF in your browser with pdf.js; both are served from michlaude.com itself, and nothing you load is uploaded.

Reader edition v1.25, built from working draft v1.21 of the author's full guide, which holds the sources, the by-question lists, the open items, and the revision history. It is not published, because of its size; to check a source, contact the author.
