A closing word

Come back to the prayer. Jesus asked that his people be one so that the world would know the Father sent him. A guide like this one can help you see where your convictions sit, and it can show you how much other believers hold in common with you. Use it to understand other churches before you argue with them, and to pray for them by name. Where you disagree, "speak the truth in love" (Ephesians 4:15), and "bear with one another in love" (Ephesians 4:2). The differences in these pages are real. They are held inside a unity that Christ himself prayed for and gives.
