What You Carry

Part Two: Pressed

The first part set down what is given. This part is about what presses on it. The corpus names three pressures, and each one comes in a form that sounds Christian. The first is a near-truth, which is a system that keeps most of the faith and cuts out the few things that carry the weight. The second is a larger room, a set of real questions about the unseen world, the ancient past, and the new thing in the sky, where a disciple can be fascinated into losing his place. The third is the closed system, any structure that has been built so it cannot be examined. Each chapter below says what the corpus claims and how confidently it claims it.
