Part Four: The Five Excisions
Excision Four: Sin and Redemption
This excision is the deepest one. Not the most visible, but the most structurally important. Every other excision depends on it. If the first three excisions are removed but this one is left in place — if the person still knows themselves as fallen and guilty before a holy God, needing forgiveness at a price — the other three excisions have no purchase. The cross is still the answer to the question they know they have. But if this excision succeeds, the cross becomes irrelevant without anyone having directly attacked it.
What is removed: the category of sin as moral guilt before a holy God, requiring forgiveness purchased at a price. The whole diagnostic that makes the gospel good news: you are not merely limited, you are guilty, and the guilt has been paid.
What replaces it: developmental limitation. Low density. Low vibration. Unactivated potential. The human problem is not that we have violated a holy God's standards and stand under judgment. The problem is that we have not yet realized our cosmic potential. The visitors offer activation, not forgiveness. Consciousness expansion, not repentance.
The vocabulary shift is precise and worth naming exactly. Sin becomes limitation. Guilt becomes unprocessed trauma. Repentance becomes release of old programming. Judgment becomes karmic pattern. The cross becomes a symbol of a teacher who modeled the expanded consciousness the visitors are now offering to everyone. Matthew 5:3 — blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom — is the specific casualty. Poverty of spirit is the entry condition for the Kingdom of God. The disclosure near-truth replaces it with receptivity: not surrender but openness, not poverty but potential.
This is where a pattern explored at full length in The Tidal Wave: Remaining in Christ in a Pornified World applies directly. No prior reading of that volume is needed; the pattern is explained here as it applies to this context.
The person who reaches for the disclosure framework does not do so in a moment of calm theological comparison. They are standing inside a genuine need — a question the church did not answer, an experience that no available category contained, a hunger for cosmic significance that institutional religion was not addressing — with a frictionless resolution immediately available. The counterfeit does not win because it is better. It wins because it is immediate, costs nothing, and the genuine article requires a posture the person has not yet been shown how to take. The genuine diagnostic requires standing empty before God: I am not unevolved, I am fallen. I am not underdeveloped, I am guilty. I do not need activation, I need a substitute. That is costly in a way the disclosure framework is not. It cannot be performed. It can only be arrived at by the person genuinely willing to stand empty.
The disclosure framework offers to bypass that cost entirely. You are not fallen. You are developing. Your guilt is not real guilt — it is the internalized voice of the institution that benefited from keeping you small. You do not need to be forgiven. You need to be activated. That offer is to the person standing inside genuine cosmic questions what the frictionless counterfeit is to any genuine need: it satisfies the surface without addressing the depth. The appetite for cosmic significance grows while the capacity for genuine encounter with the Father who actually addresses the real problem diminishes.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." — Romans 3:23 (NET)
"For the payoff of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." — Romans 6:23 (NET)
Pastoral note: this excision is the one that most directly applies to the disciple reading this guide, not just to the person you are trying to reach. The disclosure framework's deepest appeal is to the person who wants cosmic significance without poverty of spirit. That hunger is not limited to the ancient alien community. It lives in every person who has not yet stood genuinely empty before God. Check your own posture before the conversation. Poverty of spirit in you is the protection for both of you.
★ Disciple Tip: The question that opens this conversation: do you know anyone who is genuinely at peace? Not managed. Not coping. Genuinely at peace, in the presence of God, without needing the framework to produce the feeling? That is the Philippians 4:7 test. The disclosure framework can produce meaning, significance, even moments of apparent spiritual experience. It cannot produce the peace that passes understanding. That peace belongs to the person in genuine relationship with the Father.
