Vol V: The Root and the Branch
A Final Word — Five Volumes, One Story
Volume I gave the disciple their identity in the battle. Volume II gave them their King. Volume III gave them the conversation with the Muslim. Volume IV gave them the conversation with the secular mind. Volume V gives them the conversation with God's chosen people.
Five volumes. One story. The story of a God who made everything, called one people to carry His name and His promises through four thousand years of history, entered that history as a member of that people, died the death the human debt required, descended into the place of the dead and shattered its gates, rose on the third day with the keys of death and Hades, sent His Spirit to fill every person who trusts in Him, and is now not far from any one of us.
The Muslim who senses that something is missing. The agnostic who has forgotten to ask the question. The atheist whose faith in matter is quietly failing. The Jewish person who has been faithfully carrying scriptures whose full meaning they have not yet seen. For all of them: the door is open.
It was always open.
And the Person on the other side is the Jewish Messiah, the Word of God made flesh, the one who said before Abraham was — I AM.
"For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever! Amen." — Romans 11:36 (NET)
