Ecclesiastes Today: Under the Sun, Under the King
What This Book Is For
Not a problem the Gospel solved and filed away, but a mirror, still accurate, that the old king is holding up so you can see your own hands — busy, accomplished, building things that will outlast you and mean nothing to whoever inherits them, unless something interrupts the pattern. Read this book all the way through and you should end up exactly where he ended up: hands empty, nothing to offer. Except now, when you get there, there is Someone in the room to receive you, instead of a closed door and a command with nowhere left to land.
Go back to John 15. That is where this was always pointing.
