Pulling the Threads on Full Preterism: A Video Stress Test of the AD 70 Claim
Full preterism says everything the Bible promised, including the resurrection of the dead, Christ's return and the final judgment, already happened in AD 70. It is a clean claim: no loose ends and no two-thousand-year delay to explain. This six-minute video asks whether a claim that clean can survive having weight put on its seams.
What the video covers
- The missing witnesses. Every resurrection in Scripture has them; AD 70 has none.
- Where is the body? Symeon and John were still alive decades after AD 70.
- The last enemy. First Corinthians 15 gives an order, and death is not yet eliminated.
- Two promises in Matthew 24. This generation, and that day and hour.
- The word "mystery." Doing a job it was never built for.
- One day of resurrection, versus billions. What the system requires.
- The ordinance and commission problem. The Lord's Supper, the Great Commission and watchfulness.
- It was never one garment. The two leading versions disagree on ten of twelve points.
- The compound fracture. The patch collides with Jesus's own resurrection body.
It closes with what is left: AD 70 was real, and the hope of the bodily resurrection and Christ's return stands.
